Relate Screen

Relate Screen is a special version of the sophisticated twill-woven upholstery textile Relate, developed for wall panels, desk screens and similar applications.

Patricia Urquiola created both designs to revisit the concept of melange.

Relate Screen is identical in composition to Relate, but features a more open structure. It is a faux-uni and appears monochrome at first glance, but upon closer inspection, it reveals a diagonal weave that allows two different colored yarns to blend fluidly.

The twill weave of Relate Screen gives a delicate sense of movement and subtly references the world of fashion. The textile also has a soft hand and an expression reminiscent of natural fibers.
