Atrium Outdoor is an outdoor upholstery textile by Patricia Urquiola, which can also be used indoors. The textile has a plain base with a subtly vibrant pattern. Unusual for a technical, weather-resistant textile, Atrium Outdoor is made from a highly durable, specially developed Trevira CS yarn and stands out for its very soft hand. Atrium Outdoor contains no fluorocarbons and is flame-retardant with an environmentally friendly finish that is water-repellent and quick-drying. The textile is also resistant to chlorine, seawater, and artificial weathering. Atrium Outdoor combines two similarly colored yarns with a contrasting yarn. This construction gives the textile a distinctive depth and a subtle sense of undulating movement in the foreground. The background resembles a faux-uni.
