Wool upholstery fabric Atlas was designed by Margrethe Odgaard. It is primarily distinguished by its new melange expression and carefully nuanced color blends.

Atlas was created to deliver a groundbreaking melange look that complements the existing melange colors in the Kvadrat collection. Margrethe Odgaard achieved this with a construction that unites two differently colored yarns—each combining two colors—in the warp and the weft.

With Atlas, unlike other melanges, the colors are not mixed in the fibers. Instead, they are expressed as patterns in the structure of the material. As a result, the textile offers exceptional color intensity and intricate color details.
